Geslin's First Poem

Hey all, this popped into my head over thanksgiving break, I think this displays how I feel right now. And, yes, i know it's a very late to be posting this on DA, but, It's my choice.


                                      To know betrayal, is to know pain
                                        To know pain is to know death
                                         To know death is to know life
                                           To know life is to know joy
                                     To know joy is to know happiness
                                    To know happiness is to know love
                           In order to know love, one must in turn love


And to find love, you need only look in the places you never though to look...
If you truly love someone, if you want to spend the rest of your life with them, then you must seize the moment, or the one you love will be gone forever, and you will never get that person back.

That's the funny thing about love, we say it all the time, but in all your life, have you ever truly meant it?

I believe when that when you find "the one", your "Soul mate", you only have three chances to make it work.

-The first is when you meet, if you find you have things in common, then, you might be close.

-Second, if you become friends, and keep finding things you have in common, then, you might be even closer.

-The Third and final one, is If that person is always there for you, if you know you can talk to that person about anything, if you care deeply for them, but haven't told them, then it may be time to tell them that you....love them.

However, if you fail one of the three, you won't have an ice cream's chance in hell with that person.

I know what happens when you fail one of them, it ends badly for you. your hurt, and you wonder, you hope, that one day you will find the person that cares deeply about you, no matter weather, you are smart, or popular, or whatever. But what matters is that you care for them, that you will always be there for them, that you love them.
